The Campsite

 

We will be staying at the Provincial Park's Cavalcade Group Sites which are

 

operated by  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Amenities:  Pump water, fire pits, picnic tables, outhouses, camp shelters, and some firewood supplied.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We will have separate camping areas for boys and girls supervised by adult campers on all boundaries.

 

There is a locked gate at the entrance to the group site.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Kootenay Plains are significant for local Aboriginals because of the grave sites located on the plains. The nearby ecological reserve protects the area's unique grassland vegetation. Use of motorized vehicles in the ecological reserve is strictly prohibited.
